Born and raised in Hurricane, West Virginia, he attended the University of Virginia and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue storytelling. Beginning as an UTA agent trainee, then a television development executive at Entertainment One working on shows Hung (HBO) and Hell on Wheels (AMC), he migrated to writing, directing, and producing. In 2018, he was awarded a Taliesin Nexus awarded grant to direct, “Crosswinds”. Since then, he has gone on to direct six short films and produce two more. As a screenwriter, he has two feature film projects out for financing, and in 2023, he created and successfully crowdfunded his first game - a hilarious party game, called "STORY WARS".
